Where legacy meets laboratory
Nativis International was not born in a boardroom. It began at home, shaped by the careful hands of a mother.
While pursuing her PhD in Biology in the Netherlands, our founder’s mother found creative refuge in soap-making. What started as a personal practice soon became something deeper: the application of rigorous scientific knowledge to everyday personal care.
This was never a hobby. It was science, applied with intention.
Alongside two fellow post-doctoral scholars, including a future chief cosmetic executive at a Swiss pharmaceutical company and the inspirational Nabila Bardine, her interest evolved into a pursuit of purity. Every formulation was created with a scientist’s precision and a nurturer’s heart.
Each one was made exclusively for her family, not for mass shelves. From soothing balms to serums developed for her own child’s skin concerns, each creation was proof that clean, intelligent formulation matters.
From a university project to a brand
While studying Business with dual majors in Marketing and Finance, the next generation turned that family philosophy into a formal university project. That project became Nativis International.
We were founded on a simple belief: the resilient, diverse beauty of Pakistan deserves skincare rooted in purity, integrity and respect for human biology. We had seen how harsh chemical formulations were compromising the skin of young women, men and even babies, and built Nativis as a safer alternative.
Science that honours nature
The name Nativis reflects the philosophy: skincare as nature intended, strengthened by scientific rigour.
Today the mother behind our earliest formulations serves as Chief Scientific Consultant. Her work has expanded into research on native South Asian botanicals and their regenerative properties in wound healing and tissue repair, knowledge our ancestors understood intuitively and that modern science is now validating.
